Hey, hey! Happy Wednesday! I hope you’re having a great day so far. If you’re a pumpkin fanatic like me, I think you’ll appreciate today’s cold, creamy, pumpkin-spice smoothie recipe. I am constantly playing around with pumpkin flavors during fall and I’m really lovin’ on this particular concoction, so I thought I’d share it here with you. The perfect pumpkin treat on a warmer, muggy, fall day! Cheers!
PUMPKIN SPICE SMOOTHIE
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (plain works fine too)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen butternut squash
- 1 heaping tbsp canned pumpkin
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
Place all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. You can always add more almond milk if necessary. Enjoy!
*Note: You can always start with just 1/4 tsp of pumpkin spice and add more to your liking. I found 1/2 tsp to be the perfect punch of flavor! If you’re in the mood for a smoothie bowl, pour this mixture into a bowl and top with raisins, pecans, and chia seeds.
