Happy Wednesday! I’m popping in this afternoon to share a fun, fall smoothie recipe with you all! I ended up whipping up this recipe this morning (after a few days of playing around with butternut squash smoothies) and I really loved how it came out. Super creamy, flavorful, and packed with healthy goodness, this immune-boosting smoothie is a perfect fall-time breakfast or snack!
Butternut Squash Smoothie
- 3/4 cup frozen butternut squash (I used frozen organic butternut squash from Whole Foods freezer section- makes it so simple!)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 small knob of ginger peeled (you can also grate the ginger)
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp collagen powder
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1-1.5 Cups almond milk (depending on your preferred thickness)
Blend and enjoy!
